Cherry Nut Bread Recipe

3/4 cup of butter
1 (3 oz.) cream cheese (or 8 oz. for richer bread)
1/2 cup of sugar
5 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
1 cup of chopped nuts (buy them here)
3/4-1 cups of cherries, chopped

– Cream together butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy.
– Add 5 eggs (one at a time), flour, baking powder and nuts. Beat well.
– Fold in cherries.
– Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutesĀ or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean and loaves are golden brown.



Preparation: about 25 minutes
Bake: 50-60 minutes + cooling
